To factory reset a Samsung Galaxy S10, follow these steps. Please note that this will erase all of your data, so make sure you have backed up your important files before proceeding.

  1. Back up your data: Make sure you have backed up any important data such as contacts, messages, photos, and other files to a safe place like a cloud storage service or an external device.
  2. Turn off your phone: Press and hold the power button on the side of the device, then tap 'Power off' on the screen.
  3. Enter recovery mode: Press and hold the Volume Up button, the Bixby button, and the Power button simultaneously. Release all buttons when the Samsung logo appears. Your device will now enter recovery mode.
  4. Navigate the recovery menu: Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons to navigate the menu options. Highlight the 'Wipe data/factory reset' option.
  5. Confirm factory reset: Press the Power button to select 'Wipe data/factory reset'. You'll be prompted with a confirmation screen. Use the Volume Down button to highlight 'Yes,' and then press the Power button to confirm the factory reset.
  6. Reboot the device: After the reset process is complete, you'll be returned to the recovery menu. Select the 'Reboot system now' option using the Power button.
  7. Set up your device: Your Samsung Galaxy S10 will now reboot and start the initial setup process. You can restore your backed-up data during the setup or afterward.
  8. Remember, a factory reset will delete all your personal data and installed apps, so it's essential to have a backup before performing this action.
